(add)Love

Spreading love, one valentine at a time
On Valentine’s Day, our (add)venturists were out in full force, showing that NICE-ness, connection and community never go out of style. For the sixth year, our (add)love program continued this heartfelt tradition by visiting the residents at Waterview Villa Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. But we weren’t alone. This was a multigenerational effort that crossed classrooms and cubicles, bringing together elementary school students from Myron J. Francis School in Rumford and Primrose Hill School in Barrington, along with our (add)venturists, to create and deliver homemade Valentine’s Day cards, flowers and chocolates.
Two volunteers from (add)ventures distribute Valentine’s treats and chat warmly with two elderly women in a sunlit room decorated with red hearts.

The heartfelt cards, carefully crafted by young hands and our team, carried messages of love and encouragement—small reminders that no one is forgotten. But we didn’t stop there. We also made sure the hardworking staff at Waterview Villa felt the love too. After all, they are the everyday heroes providing care with compassion, dignity and respect. To show our gratitude, we provided a special lunch, delivering meals for the 150 members of their dedicated team. Waterview Villa provides short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, respite, hospice and dementia care. For us, (add)love isn’t just about what we give—it’s about how we make people feel. And on this day, we felt the warmth of connection just as much as those we were there to celebrate.

A group of smiling (add)ventures team members and community volunteers gather outside Waterview Villa, some in festive Valentine’s attire, holding donated gifts.

At (add)ventures, we do well by doing good. Because in the end, the best brands, businesses and people aren’t just successful—they make the world a little brighter, one small act of love at a time.

Volunteer hands a Valentine’s gift bag to an elderly woman wearing heart antennae, surrounded by smiling residents and caregivers in a decorated care facility dining room.
